1936 Dated German Army 15th Infantry Regiment Marked EM/NCO Visor Cap

The 'tellerform' cap is constructed of a ribbed field green wool with green wool cap band, both piped in white to reflect infantry service. The black leather chin strap exhibits age impressions, with typical minor crazing of the surface of the visor. The interior of the cap shows use and wear, with the leather sweatband being intact. The celluloid sweat diamond in the crown has pieces missing, but it is largely intact. Beneath the sweat diamond the cap is maker marked and it bears the designated size of what appears to be '57-1/9'. The underside of the sweatband is dated 1936 and it bears the unit designation of the 15th infantry regiment. Overall very good condition.
