Named WWII British Royal Air Force Officer Visor Cap

The blue wool Royal Air Force officer visor cap shows use and age, with surface dust and soiling as well as a few subtle spots, but overall the cap is in very good condition. The full interior leather sweatband is intact, bearing the written name of 'F.R. Bates' on both the interior and the exterior of the sweatband. The lining exhibits soiling, but the retailer label is retained beneath a caramelized lining. Overall the cap makes a very good appearance.
