He served onboard HMS Isis during the Boxer rebellion of 1900 & was discharged to shore by purchase in 1905. He joined the RFR the day after his discharge & during WW1 served onboard HMS Wildfire & HMS Lancaster before being demobilized in 1919.NEF & Complete with copy service papers
