MINT Polizei 'Gendarmerie' Shako (Tschako) by Erel 1939

Excellent and well preserved German Police 'Gendarmerie' Shako in very good – unworn, MINT, condition, having brown leather accents instead of black (=police)! Maker marked by Robert Lubstein 'Erel', size marked 57 1/2. Liner is soft and complete. Reverse is dated 1939. Cocarde dated 1940 and also maker marked by JFS. The brown chin strap is also maker marked by Otto Sindel, Berlin, dated 1941. Detailed aluminum police eagle on the front. Both screws on the back present A beautiful piece of headgear – impossibe to upgrade!
