Description
USAAF WWII Cloth Flyers Helmet AN-H-15-The USAAF AN-H-15 was a standard, lightweight, summer flying helmet for the U.S. Army Air Forces (USAAF) and Navy during World War II, introduced in 1943 as a joint Army/Navy procurement item, replacing the A-9 helmet. Made from khaki cotton with black rubber earcups, chamois padding, and a leather chinstrap, it integrated ANB-H-1 receivers and often featured snaps for the A-14 oxygen mask, becoming iconic for bomber and communications crews. This example is very clean and fully intact. It was produced by the Zip-A-Bag company and is a size large. Excellent!
