Italian Carabineri NCO Visor Cap-The carabineri are a national gendarmerie, functioning as a branch of the Italian armed forces with dual military and law enforcement roles, often described as Italy's military police. This visor cap is produced in rugged black woven cotton. It has a ribbed black center band and red piping. There is a large silver flaming bomb insignia sewn to the front (a bit loose). The visor shows fading and crazing. The interior is fully lined in red rayon that shows minor fading and wear. There is gold maker nomenclature on the top panel. The sweatband is soft black leather. This is a large size 59. We are unsure of the vintage. Very good condition overall!
