WWII German Luftwaffe Artillery NCO Visor Cap, Named-This is a private purchase example. It is a bit out of shape but looks fine on a mannequin head or a hat form. The blue grey wool is super clean. It is tricot woven and has minor wear and tracking a few spots. The red artillery piping is fully intact. There is a ribbed black center band. The insignia is zinc. The eagle is missing the finish but the one piece winged cockade retains a majority of the finish. There is a black patent leather chinstrap that is in fine condition. The black vulkanfibre visor is a bit faded but otherwise ok. The underside is green finished and cross hatched. The interior is fully lined in gold rayon that is super clean. The visor is loose on one side and this is part of why the cap is a bit out of shape. The moisture shield is missing. The tan sweatband is ersatz leather. It is clean but torn on one side. The cap is named underneath the sweatband to 'Riegel'. The cap is a size 58. Overall good condition!
