Ultra rare uniform removed officer sleeve band for SS-Panzergrenadierregiment 6 Theodor Eicke, this so called officer version is woven in white celleon-like threads onto a black field, the difference in texture of the white threads is in contrast with standard woven Waffen-SS sleeve bands having grey colored rayon lettering and borders, this variance in threads used is particularly noticeable upon examining the band's reverse lettering, the external white borders and lettering show a great deal of soiling from wear and the section of the sleeve band that was positioned at the rear sleeve is abraded, the band is sewn into the closed position and had been hand sewn to the lower sleeve but was carefully removed, the estimated length unfolded is 36cm, we are unaware of another uniform removed example of this type, USD $5500
