Description

A very nice condition bayonet with the blade being bright without staining or toning and a clear factory stamp. Hilt has some of its period finish leaving a very clean finish with no pitting and minimal staining, top fixing button moves with the slightest of touch. End of the pommel has a five digit number, 38281. The wooden grips have no chips or cracks, only minimal staining from use. The steel scabbard has close to 100% of its period black finish with just a touch of wear to certain points. It has been noted that black painted scabbards might well indicate naval use. All in all a very good example.NOT FOR SALE TO UNDER 18'S AND UK ONLY. PROOF OF AGE WILL BE REQUIRED.
