Wehrmacht 'Zeltbahn 31'

Wehrmacht M31 Shelter Quarter (Zeltbahn 31). The shelter quarter served buttoned together to form a four-man tent (or larger), it could also be worn as a poncho to give protection against rain, and it served as camouflage during a battle. It is made of tightly woven cotton drill with the 'splitter pattern' camouflage, which showed light colors on one side and dark colors on the other. This example is still showing bright colours. The shelter quarter looks to be complete with most of its original dish type buttons and eyelets. The Zeltbahn is faintly maker marked. It is showing minimal traces of usage and some staining, see photos. Nice original Wehrmacht Zeltbahn showing stunning colours in very good condition!
