You are bidding on an UNUSED example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe / Wehrmacht Leather Equipment Strap!German soldiers were all issued with three leather straps designed to secure the rolled Greatcoat, Canteen, Mess Kit, Zeltbahn, and other equipment to the Belt or Y-Frame.Made of blackened leather this USED Leather Equipment Strap is in condition! Virtually IDENTICAL to the WW2 Issued variant, this is a POST-WAR strap from the 1950's. As it is used, there is some slight traces of dirt and rust of the metal clasp, as well as some marks and obvious wear. If it were not for the date stamp, I would have thought that this was original WW2…so it should look good for display or re-enactor. Measures approx. 22″ in length. Would make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display!
