WWI French Medical Officer Tunic

The tunic shows signs of age and wear, but it is without holes, damage or repairs. All of the gilt medical corps buttons are intact. The tunic is tailored in black wool with burgundy velvet collar and cuffs. The collar bears the French Army Medical Corps officer insignia in toned silver bullion. The top edge of the collar shows some fraying and a bit of separation between the lining and the collar. The collar has two hook and eye closures, missing one of the two hooks. The interior of the collar retains the woven tailor's label. Overall the tunic is in very good condition.
