German WWI Imperial Army Buckle from Saxony

German WWI Imperial Army Buckle from Saxony-This is a handsome brass two piece example. The details to the crown, and the motto 'PROVIDENTIAE MEMOR' are very strong. The motto translates to 'Remember Providence'. This is not the usual motto we see, but this was on buckles for the Kingdom of Saxony (part of Imperial Germany, 1871-1918). This buckle is in near excellent condition and is a neat offering. This would be worn by both enlisted men, and NCOs. Priced to sell.
