German WWII DAK EM Buckle

German WWII DAK EM Buckle-This buckle retains approx. 70% of its original tropical green paint. It is made of stamped steel. The details remain very good, especially the feathers on the eagle.The reverse has the flat footed catch, and a steel rollbar that also retains its finish. This buckle is marked under the catch for 'MSS' in the bell and the date 40. This is the logo for a rarely seen maker, Matthias Salcher & Söhne, of Wagstadt. This would be a nice addition to anyone's collection.
