German WWII Army EM Buckle-This is an aluminum example of a heer buckle. It has lost the majority of its green finish on the obverse which is quite common. Some remains in the lowest details. The details are very good, strong pebbling, though it does show wear to the motto, wreath and especially the chest feathers of the eagle. Someone wore this buckle a lot. The reverse retains approx. 70% of the green finish. The integrated catch and aluminum rollbar function as they should. A good wartime example.
