German WWII DJ Buckle-This is a gorgeous example in nickel silver with the brass single sigrune in the center. This would be worn by a member of the Deutsches Jungvolk, which of course was for boys aged 10 to 13. Through a program of outdoor activities, parades and sports, it aimed to, somewhat, indoctrinate its young members in the tenets of the party ideology. The boys would then join the Hitler Youth. This is an early one-piece stamped example with a brass single rune on a nickel silver background. This shows light wear only. The catch end is marked with an RZM motto followed by 36 for Overhoff & Cie. This is a nice offering.
