Description
The tunic is in excellent condition, showing light wear and use. General Flint's career included service as a battalion commander of the 25th Infantry Division in Vietnam during the Tet Offensive. Other assignments included service with the 82nd Airborne Division, the United States Army Command and General Staff College, and the British Staff College at Camberley, and the United States Military Academy at West Point. He held a Ph. D. in history and was President of the Company of Military Historians. The tunic carries Flint's awards and qualification badges to include the Combat Infantry Badge; a Senior airborne paratrooper wing; and a British paratrooper wing. His ribbons reflect the award of the Silver Star, the Bronze Star; and the Vietnam Sevice Medal with four campaign stars.
