US WW2 M1936 Carrying Strap

The M1936 Carrying Strap was issued with the M1936 Canvas Field Bag (Musette) and the Ammunition Bag.It allowed carrying the bags across the shoulder instead of being attached to the M1936 Suspenders.In 1945 this strap would be replaced with the General Purpose Carrying Strap which was longer and had hooks on the ends.This M1936 Strap show traces of minor use and the markings are not clear anymore. Still a nice addition to your collection.
