The solid badge bearstext which reads 'Mitteldeutscher Rundflug 15.u.16.7.39', indicating that it was for a regional flight competition held on July 15th and 16th, 1939. The reverse bears a maker name on the pin attachment plate. The badge shows some wear to the finish.
