WW1 PairTo- 22717.PTE.H.BRATLEY.LANC.FUSHarold Bratley was born in Stockton on the Forest, Yorkshire & lived in Gate Helmsley. He enlisted in Richmond & first served overseas with the 18th service battalion of the Lancashire Fusiliers. Although he had seen prior home service with both the RFA & the KSLI.He was 30 years of age at the time of his death & is buried in Martinsart British cemetery. The CWGC state that he was the late son of William & Mary Emma Bratley of Gate Helmsley, York.EF/NEF & Complete with MIC details. Along with details from both SDGW & the CWGC.
