WW1 Pair & Mercantile Marine war medalTo- R.1647.C.E.START.AB.R.N.V.R (Pair)& CHARLES.E.START (Mercantile Marine)Charles Ernest Start was born on Christmas day 25-122-1895 & enlisted in the the R.N.V.R 12-10-1917 Whilst living with his wife Mrs Annie Start at the Ship Inn, Lake terrace, Harton Village, South Shields, County Durham. He served with the Hood battalion of the Royal Naval Division in France 1917-1919 & had seen prior service with the Mercantile Marine as an assistant steward.GVF or better & complete with the original postal envelope for the medals. Along with copy RND card details & Mercantile Marine card details that include a copy image of the recipient.
