WW1 1914 Star trio with original August to November 1914 claspTo- 10739.PTE.J.HARDIE.1/GORD.HIGHRS (1914)& 10739.PTE.J.HARDIE.GORDONS (Pair)John Hardie from Dunfermline enlisted 29-5-1908 & first landed in France 28-8-1914 serving with the 1st battalion of the Gordon Highlanders. He was wounded in October 1914 which resulted in the amputation of his left leg below the knee & he was discharged with a silver war badge 31-5-1915. He applied for the issue of the clasp to his 1914 star in 1938 whilst living in Invergordon.GVF or better & complete with MIC details, medal roll details, casualty roll details & silver war badge details.
