Imperial German Train Association Trumpet Banner 1899- This is a spectacular banner! Exquisite details! This banner belonged to the Association of Former Comrades of the Trains of Munster.The obverse has a beautifully detailed embroidered imperial eagle and wreath on a field of the national colors.The reverse has an Iron Cross of 1813. This also has wonderful details of embroidery and tress work.On three sides is a cloth fringe that is well applied.On the hanging end there three brass rings and two Clips. One of the clips is fastened down to the banner. The other has come loose and the fabric fastener for the clip is missing. On one corner is the seamstress/group name of Munster. It measures 24 inches (61cm) Square.An extraordinary banner that is in incredible condition!
