Named and Unit Marked Imperial Prussian EM/NCO Pickelhaube

The black leather helmet exhibits typical age crazing to the front and rear visors, with minor scuffs and surface scratches, but with the body of the helmet generally showing a fine shape and good polish. The front has two holes for the retention of the wappen front plate. The brass front visor trim; the brass Prussian eagle front plate; the spike; the spike base; and the rear spine all show an uncleaned patina. The spike base plate is missing one of its attachment pins. The interior leather liner is partially intact. The helmet is lacking the chin strap and one of the chin strap bales. The interior of the helmet retains a label which identified the owner of the helmet and his unit. with the label bearing the designations of 'Landsturmmann / Weigand / 3 Komp. Landst-Ers-Batl. (XVII.20)'.
