WW1 Royal Flying Corps RFC miniature gilt & enamel badge

A scarce original First World War period 'Royal Flying Corps sweetheart brooch' gilt brass example fashioned in the style of the cap badge; red enamel Crowned wreath 'RFC' to voided centre inlaid with blue enamel. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no enamel loss, gilt finish remains bright..Height approx 23mm.
