Kriegsmarine Hanhart 3 Steine U-boat stopwatch 'Nr.1405'

A very scarce original example of the Hanhart '3 Steine' model stopwatch, as issued to Kriegsmarine forces and U-boat crews etc.Aside from some discolouration and damage to the outer perpex dial cover, this example remains in nice overall wartime condition.The stopwatch function is operational at the time of cataloging, however the reset function appears not to be so at present.Nevertheless, it remains an example that is a guaranteed original wartime Kriegsmarine piece and is NOT one of the many post-war engraved or 'upgraded' examples which comprise the majority on the market today...
