M40 army (Heer) single decal 'black' steel helmet Q64

Genuine M40 army steel helmet. Was camouflaged in black paint, but the dome of the helmet still remains green inside. Army decal was painted over, but liberated later so it still shows nice details and patina. The original liner is present, showing black paint drips on the steel ring. The leather itself was unfloded somehow and now kept in place by the pressure of the inner springs. Partial chin strap present. Marked Q64. Black camouflaged helmets were often used by units operating in night time such as anti-aircraft regiments.
