WW2 German Kriegsmarine – 7×50 CARL ZEISS GAS MASK BINOCULARS – VERY NICE!

You are bidding on a VERY NICE set of WW2 German Wehrmacht 7×50 Gas Mask Artillery Binoculars!The German Army and Navy used a wide variety of optical equipment, including a 6×30 (6 power magnification with 30mm objective lens), 7×50, 8×30, 10×50 and others, being the standard issued optics used by all branches of service. Though this type was the standard, specialized personnel required stinger optics, and were issues to personnel on a limited basis.anti-ship/aircraft batteries of the Kriegsmarine installed to defend the coasts.Made of aluminum, brass, and steel byCarl Zeiss Jena, these 7×50 power binoculars are in EXCELLENT used condition! The lens bodies retain about 80% of their rough textured black finish (some sections missing), and the aluminum end piece fittings are 100% intact! Features the RARE Gas Mask Eye Piece fittings! The original rubber eye sockets are also intact! These can be moved back approx. 10mm, to allow the wearer to use the binoculars with or without the mask…however they are a bit stiff at the moment (would need some lubrication). The focus adjustments still function PERFECTLY on both eye pieces (though one is a bit loose than the other) and the optics VISUALLY STUNNING with NO spotting! The only downfall is that the left side ocular is cracked (see photos). It does not impede the view very much, however replacements can be found, if the winner bidder wishes to replace it.
