RARE M41 army (Heer) first pattern tropical 'Afrikakorps' field cap by Lago Berlin 1941

Rarely seen, worn M41 first pattern tropical field cap, as used by the Afrikakorps. Shows normal wear, complete with all four vent holes. Original applied insignia up front. The colored soutache with 'Waffenfarbe' (Weapon/Branch Color) was removed per regulations. When we unfold the rim a little bit, we can see remains of green colored 'Jäger' soutache. Red liner shows light wear. Maker marked by Lago Berlin dated 1941 and size marked 57. A stunning field cap, extremely rare to find a first pattern like this!
