M35 Luftwaffe ex-double decal steel helmet Q64 1938

Very solid light worn M35 Luftwaffe steel helmet in good condition. Helmet started as a double decal example, in classic glossy blue pre-war exterior paint. Per 1940 regulations the tri-color shield had to be removed. The Luftwaffe eagle decal, still sits firmly in place and shows great and sharp details. Complete with original installed liner. Reinforced aluminum liner band is dated 1938. The leather itself remains supple and strong. Split pins remain straight and untouched. Shell markings Q64, lot number 4689. A beautiful Luftwaffe helmet!
