Early M35 Luftwaffe double decal steel helmet with droop tail eagle Q62 named

M35 blue colored Luftwaffe helmet with double decals. The Luftwaffe eagle is the desirable first pattern model often referred to as the 'Droop Tail' or 'Straight Leg' variant, typical for this manufacturer. Both decals are presentbut shows heavy wear. The helmet is complete with an early aluminum single band liner. The leather feels soft and shows light wear. It is unit marked on the reverse, typical for these early LW lids but almost impossible to read. A name tag is also sewn on the reverse of the liner, again a typical feature for early helmets. Untouched helmet, split pins remain firm and tight. Maker marked by Q (Quist) size 62 (Q62), lotnumber 408.
