Description
The uniform is comprised of the belted four pocket 'green' officer tunic as well as the 'pink' officer gabardine trousers. The shoulders bear the single pin back rank insignia of a Brigadier General, both with matching 'palm leaves' back design. On the left shoulder is the patch of the European Theater Advance Sector Headquarters. On the upper left breast is a set of sewn ribbons which reflect service in Europe during World War II, together with a separately pinned ribbon for the World War I Victory Medal. The interior pocket retains the tailor label with the handwritten name of 'Jackson, H.'. Both the tunic and the trousers are in excellent condition and makes a very fine appearance.
