M35 Luftwaffedouble decal steel helmet Q66 1939

Very solid light worn M35 Luftwaffe steel helmet in good condition. Helmet started as a double decal example, in classic glossy blue pre-war exterior paint. The tri-color shield has been, what I believe to be period, retouched as often observed on early helmets. The Luftwaffe eagle decal, still sits firmly in place and shows great and sharp details. Complete with original installed liner. Reinforced aluminum liner band is dated 1939. The leather itself remains supple and strong. Genuine draw string is present. Split pins remain straight and untouched. Shell markings Q66 – 4295. A beautiful Luftwaffe helmet!
