US Soda Bottle with 'V'

US Soda Bottle with 'V'-During the war, 'V for Victory' slogans were seen everywhere. This was patriotic messaging to support the war effort (sort of like buying war bonds). Different brands and designs varied. This is an embossed glass soda bottle from S.S. Anderson in Mississippi. This bottle is very well marked, it has the makers name on one side, with the 'V' and a cool slogan 'Twice as Good'/'Half as Much' on the obverse.These were part of the home front's support for the war, alongside similar milk bottles. This bottle measures 8 inches (20.32cm) tall. It is in very good condition. The thick glass shows no chipping at all. A very scarce collectible and a really cool find.
