Soldbuch of 'Unteroffizier' Otto Maier who served within Art.Rgt.235 of the 198.Inf.Div.Ater the Alleid invasion of Southern France in June 1944 ,Maiers unit retreated in northern direction upto the Alsace where it remained till March 1945.Most probably ,Maier was taken POW by French troops in the Neckar River area,early May 1945.Maier was awarded the 'Ostmedaille' and the KvK II m.Schw.Last equipment update 15-1-1945.
