RARE Early M33 SA Dagger Full Röhm Dedication by Carl Eickhorn

Offered here is an original early SA Dienstdolch M33 with full Ernst Röhm dedication, manufactured by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. A highly collectible and historically interesting example, positively discussed and evaluated by advanced collectors. The dagger features the low-positioned Eickhorn squirrel trademark, correct for early Full Röhm production. The blade retains its original Röhm dedication on the reverse and'Alles für Deutschland'on the obverse. The dedication is original, intact, and not erased. The lower crossguard is clearly stamped with the 'Ho' SA Gruppe district marking, which is well-struck and correct for the period. The blade shows evidence of period re-tipping and re-tapering, most likely due to the common practice of breaking the blade tip during the Röhm purge (1934), followed by a later-period repair. This is widely observed on Röhm daggers and is considered a period modification rather than a post-war alteration. Surface patina and age-related wear are fully consistent with originality. The solid nickel-silver fittings display honest wear. The wooden grip is well-preserved, with a nicely seated SA roundel and eagle. The scabbard retains its original brown anodized finish and shows clear signs of use, which add to the overall character and authenticity of the piece. The wear is even and honest, presenting in a positive, untouched manner, with correct fittings and matching patina throughout.
