You are bidding on a FANTASTIC and 100% ORIGINAL set of WW2 German Splinter Pattern Camouflage Winter Mittens!The Splinter Pattern Reversible Winter Mittens were a standard issue item, and were distributed to all ELITE EM/NCO's for the winter season. As with all other winter garments they were to be returned to the units storage depot at the end of the season.Made of water-proofed cotton/rayon, these reversible mittens are in SUPERB unused condition! They feature the standard Splinter pattern camouflage, consisting of shades of greens, tans, and browns. They are reversible to white, and also feature a string that connects them together. They have a prominent RBn Number stamped on the inside of each. LARGE in size, these are aVERY RARE item, it would make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display!
