Georgian flintlock cavalry pistol. 15. 1/2 inch overall, barrel 9. inch with Birmingham proofs also stamped with a Georgian (GR) crown and 'Tower' on the lock. Working action with flint. A walnut fullstock, with regulation brass mounts and original wooden and brass ramrod. Barrel and lock to a pleasing steel grey/ silver finish , the barrel with some age tone. Has usual light dings and knocks to the stock. The brass butt and cap, trigger guard, lock side-plate and ramrod pipes devoid of any heavy dings and in very good overall condition commensurate with age.Note: obsolete calibre/ antique firearm no licence is required to own this item in Australia.Not available for export.
