A good original circa 1940's vintage period 'Royal Air Force gilt and enamel tie-pin badge'; George VI Crowned , blue enamel title circlet 'Per Ardua Ad Astra' (Through Adversity to the Stars) bearing RAF spread-eagle to voided centre. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.Width approx 55mm.SUPPLIED WITH A BRAND NEW BLACK PLUSH VELVET LINED PRESENTATION BOX.
