French WWI, Polish Marked 1886/1916 Lebel Bayonet, 1st Model Grip

Original era manufacture. A very nice early productionLebel bayonet with an alloy grip which was made without the removable nut in the pommel so as to be able to replace the blade. Hooked guard andshortened length cruciform blade. The blue steel scabbard is free of dents and retains most of its original finish with some ver light surface corrosion to the finish. Stamped into the top of the pommel are Polish army markings, WZ. 89/93. Scarce bayonet.
