Italian M1871 Vetterli Bayonet, Short Spring

Original period manufacture. Blue finished steel blade with composition grips and a short blued steel locking bar. Brass mounted leather bodied scabbard in very sound condition. The blade is very clean with clear markings on its ricasso. Great old bayonet which had a long service life with the Italian Army.
