German WWII Original 98K Combat Bayonet by WKC-This is a bayonet that looks like it was well used. This is a good-looking example produced in 1938 as designated by the date on the backstrap of the blade. This has parkerized fittings throughout, and these rate 90% or better. The bayonet itself has the usual waffenamt in the usual locations. The brown bakelite ribbed grip plates show use, but are in good condition. There are a few smoothed out dents on these plates. The mortise button works as it should. The scabbard is gorgeous. it is unmarked, unnumbered and does not have any waffenamts but is beautifully blued. The blade is covered in cosmoline, and does have the WKC initials on the obverse ricasso, and the serial number on the reverse.This could be a sleeper!Online checkout is not supported for edged weapons.
