East African Native Corps?

This badge was acquired with a collection of East African badges, but I cannot find a reference for it. Theatre sand cast in brass with integral loops, crossed spear and club on a blank circlet. Quite small at circa 32mm tall. Any information most welcome.Comm MaFi
