Privately purchased Luftwaffe four pocket tunic to an Oberleutnant of paratroopers or aircrew with award loops to left breast for medals & a lower pair of loops for either Pilots badge or paratrooper badge. .Constructed of high quality doeskin type wool the Branch of service denoted by the yellow backing to collar tabs & piping to shoulder boards. These appear to be original to the tunic , collar tabs are correctly machine stitch applied & breast eagle professionally hand applied by the tailor. The Berlin tailor name label reading Armeemarinehaus INHABER Deutscher Offizier verein ' to rear. Inside lining of artificial silk has name label to inside of left pocket with officers name & date 1940.Stunning tunic to a decorated officer.
