French WWI 1886 Lebel Bayonet and Frog

Original era manufacture. A very nice early production WWI bayonet with brass grip, hooked guard and full length cruciform blade. The blue steel scabbard is free of dents and retains most of its original finish. The blade runs straight and true without any corrosion damage. Sound brown leather frog in good condition, no flaking or dryrot. Only negative to this rig is that the serial bumbers on guard and scabbard do not match.
