Waffen-SS Greatcoat

Waffen-SS Coat (Wachmantel). The coat was part of every soldier's standard equipment. It could be worn in cold weather, rain, and all other conceivable situations. This heavy-duty coat is made of the standard field-gray wool uniform cloth and is fully lined with black wool. This is a typical SS-style coat without the French-style rolled-up sleeves found on Wehrmacht coats. The coat has two rows of six buttons and a metal hook and eyelet at the neck. The coat is not visibly maker-marked; it is a large size. The coat is complete with its original hand-sewn RZM-type, machine-embroidered SS sleeve eagle. The coat is in very good condition and shows minimal signs of wear and some minor (moth) damage. A rare and hard-to-find original Waffen-SS Coat!
