British Pattern 1848 Brunswick Bayonet, Enfield Mfg 1849

Original period manufacture. A very clean 22 inch polished steel blade with clear markings and dates on its ricassos. As stated, the blade is very clean just a few small spots of staining from old surface corrosion. Cast brass guard and grip with unit markings on the pommel. The lock mechanism is present but the internal spring is gone.
