Description
Original example of 'D.N.S.A.P.s Maaneds-Breve', no. 2, dated May 1935, issued by the headquarters of the Danmarks Nationalsocialistiske Arbejderparti (DNSAP). This Danish National Socialist monthly publication was edited by the party's central office and prominently features the party designation and swastika emblem on the front page. The opening article, 'Indrepolitiske Strejflys,' is written by party leader Frits Clausen and addresses domestic political and economic issues. This issue also includes articles such as 'Europæisk Stoppolitik i April,' 'Den kommunistiske Verdenskonference,' 'Sovjet-England forberedes i Moskva,' 'Fransk Hykleri,' and 'Frimureriet opløses i Portugal,' as well as contributions on national economic themes and agricultural policy, including 'Meddelelser fra Jordbrugskorporationen' and discussions of financial and social matters.Numerous international and national locations are mentioned throughout the text, including Moscow, Skodsborg, London, Paris, Geneva, Portugal, Fredericia, Aarhus, Randers, Næstved, Slagelse, Aalborg, Copenhagen, Nykøbing Falster, Toftlund, and Danish regions such as Zealand (Sjælland), Jutland (Jylland), Funen (Fyn), Bornholm, and Southern Jutland (Sønderjylland).References are also made to Germany and study trips to Tyskland. In addition to Frits Clausen, various names appear in organizational notices and party communications, including C.O. Jørgensen, Anders Malling, Arildskov, Helge Schou, Folmer Christensen, Bruno Jepsen, Hans Christensen, Otto Bensen, J.E. Stahr, and M.K. Madsen, among others associated with party structures, departments, and regional leadership. The publication further contains sections on party organization, appointments, expulsions, propaganda activities, voluntary labor service, and party funding. At the rear, an extensive list of herreds- and byledere (district and city leaders) is included, with place names from across Denmark. This issue provides a clear insight into the ideological direction, organizational structure, and international outlook of the DNSAP in the mid-1930s. A characteristic and historically significant document from the Danish National Socialist movement during the interwar period, of interest to collectors of Scandinavian political history, interwar printed material, and Second World War–related documentation.Article number: 18160
