WWI U.S. Navy White Top Officer Visor Cap

The white cotton top of the visor cap exhibits mild age toning and a few subtle spots, but it is generally quite clean and without holes or damage. The front of the cap displays a toed silver bullion U.S. Navy officer eagle. Th gold chin strap is similarly toned. The surface of the visor shows some relatively minor age crazing. The full leather sweatband is present and intact on the interior. The cap, being designed for summer wear, is unlined. Overall the cap is in excellent condition and it makes a very fine appearance.
