WWII U.S. Navy W.A.V.E.S. Officer Cap

The blue cap top is secured to the brim with snaps in order to permit a change to a white cap body. The front of the cap displays the insignia of a U.S. Navy officer, showing an uncleaned patina. The interior bears the 'W.A.V.E.S.' label and a contract tag which identifies the cap as a size 22. The cap shows some surface dust, but overall it is in excellent condition.
